† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Founza Petrou

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Founza Petrou who died peacefully on Friday 19th April 2024, aged 91.

She leaves behind her loving husband Savvas, her three children Christina, Petros and Maria, her daughter-in-law Soulla and son-in-law Tony, her grandchildren Chrisovalantis, Christopher, Savvia, Eva, Flora, Mary, Florentia, Andrea and Savvina and her great grandchildren Frankie and Georgia.

Founza was the heart of our family and was a caring, loving mother always full of smiles and happiness. Her passing has left a huge void in all our lives and she will be sorely missed.

The funeral will take place on Friday 10th May, at 12pm at St John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Wightman Road, London, N8 0LY, followed by the burial at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate, N11 1JJ at 2pm. The wake will follow at the cemetery.

Flowers are welcome. There will also be a donation box which will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society.

Με μεγάλη μας θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της αγαπημένης μας συζύγου, μητέρας, γιαγιάς, προγιαγιάς και αδελφής, Φούνζας Πέτρου που πέθανε ειρηνικά την Παρασκευή 19 Απριλίου 2024, σε ηλικία 91 ετών.

Καταλείπει τον αγαπημένο σύζυγο της Σάββα, τα τρία της παιδιά Χριστίνα, Πέτρο και Μαρία, τη νύφη της Σούλλα, τον γαμπρό της Τόνυ, τα εγγόνια της Χρυσοβαλάντη, Χριστόφορο, Σαββία, Εύα, Φλώρα, Μαίρη, Φλωρεντία, Άντρια και Σαββίνα και τα δισέγγονά της Φράνκι και Γεωργία.

Η Φούνζα ήταν η καρδιά της οικογένειάς μας και ήταν στοργική μητέρα πάντα γεμάτη χαμόγελο και ευτυχία. Ο θάνατός της έχει αφήσει ένα τεράστιο κενό στη ζωή όλων μας και θα μας λείψει πολύ.

Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 10 Μαΐου, στις 12μμ από τον ιερό ναό Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή, Hornsey / Haringey, Wightman Road, London N8 0LY, και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο New Southgate, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate, N11 1JJ, στις 2 μ.μ. Η παρηγιριά θα ακολουθήσει στο κοιμητήριο.

Τα λουλούδια είναι ευπρόσδεκτα. Θα υπάρχει επίσης ένα κουτί εισφορών για το Alzheimer’s Society.
