† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Petros Kombou
(From Pentayia, Cyprus)

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Petros, who passed away on Tuesday 2nd April, aged 92.
Petros was born in Pentayia, Cyprus and came to England at the young age of 16. He trained as a telecomms engineer, installing telephone exchanges all over the UK and abroad. He met and married his wife Androulla in 1958 eventually settling with their family in North London.
Petros leaves behind his loving wife Androulla, sons George, Zac, Mario, Paul, daughters-in-law, Andree, Tina, Sarah, Claire, grandchildren Elena, Alexia, Nadia, Ruby and Leo.
The funeral will take place at 10am, on Thursday 18th April 2024, at St Marys Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 21 Trinity Rd, London N22 8LB, followed by the burial at the New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Rd, London N11 1JJ.
A wake will be held after the burial at the Penridge Suite, 470 Bowes Rd, Arnos Grove, London N11 1NL. A collection box will be available for anyone who wishes to donate to the North London Hospice.

Με βαριά καρδιά και μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας συζύγου, πατέρα και παππού Πέτρου, ο οποίος έφυγε από τη ζωή την
Τρίτη 2 Απριλίου, σε ηλικία 92 ετών.
Ο Πέτρος γεννήθηκε στην Πεντάγεια της Κύπρου και ήρθε στην Αγγλία σε
ηλικία 16 ετών. Εκπαιδεύτηκε ως μηχανικός τηλεπικοινωνιών, εγκαθιστώντας
τηλεφωνικά κέντρα σε όλο το ΗΒ και στο εξωτερικό. Γνώρισε και παντρεύτηκε
τη σύζυγό του Ανδρούλλα το 1958 και τελικά εγκαταστάθηκε με την οικογένειά
τους στο Βόρειο Λονδίνο.
Ο Πέτρος καταλείπει την αγαπημένη του σύζυγο Ανδρούλλα, τους γιους
του Γιώργο, Zαχαρία, Mάριο, Παύλο, νύφες, Άντρη, Tίνα, Σάρα,
Κλαίρη, και τα εγγόνια του Έλενα, Αλεξία, Νάντια, Ρούμπι και Λίο.
Η κηδεία θα γίνει στις 10 π.μ., την Πέμπτη 18 Απριλίου 2024, από τον Καθεδρικό Ναό Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου, 21 Trinity Rd, London N22 8LB, και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Rd, London N11 1JJ.
Μετά την ταφή θα δοθεί η παρηγοριά στο Penridge Suite, 470 Bowes Rd, Arnos Grove, London N11 1NL. Ένα κουτί θα είναι διαθέσιμο για όποιον επιθυμεί να κάνει εισφορές στο North London Hospice.
