We sadly announce that George Adonis from Vasili, Cyprus has passed away today 9th April 2024 at the age of 82

He leaves behind two children Francesca and Nicholas and  two grandchildren Elias and Ophelia, relatives, and friends. His Wife Irene from Scotland passed away in December 2022.

George  attended Pan Cyprian Gymnasium, Nicosia,He then immigrated to London to further his education and become a Barrister at Law , He studied Law at North West London Polytechnic and King’s College London then Lincoln Inn and called to the Bar in 1973.

George was well known in the UK Cypriot community as the Vice President of the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK and Secretary of the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood.

Also a committee member of the Leonarisso Vasili Association.
