† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT –  FUNERAL

Michalakis Leonida

(from Kornos, Cyprus)

It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Michalakis Leonida, who passed away

on Thursday 4th April 2024 at the age of 84.

He was born in Kornos village, Larnaka district on the 19 March 1940.

He leaves behind his wife Chrystalla, son George, daughter Vera, grandchildren Max and Alex, along with other family and friends.

Michalakis devoted his time to St. Demetrious Church, he was there 7 days a week. Loving father and grandfather, he will be missed dearly.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 23 April 2024, 12.00 noon, at St Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church, Edmonton, Tower/Logan Road N9 0LP. After the church

service the wake will take place at the church hall for the convenience of the people attending, followed by the burial at Sewardstone Park Cemetery Sewardstone Road,

London E4 7RJ, at 3.00pm.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη και βαριά καρδιά ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας συζύγου, πατέρα και παππού Μιχαλάκη Λεωνίδα, ο οποίος έφυγε από τη ζωή

την Πέμπτη 4 Απριλίου 2024, σε ηλικία 84 ετών.

Γεννήθηκε στο χωριό Κόρνος της επαρχίας Λάρνακας στις 19 Μαρτίου 1940.

Καταλείπει την σύζυγό του Χρυστάλλα, τον γιο του Γιώργο, την κόρη του Βέρα, τα εγγόνια του Μαξ και Άλεξ, οικογένεια και φίλους.

Ο Μιχαλάκης αφιέρωσε τον χρόνο του στην εκκλησία του Αγίου Δημητρίου, ήταν εκεί 7 ημέρες την εβδομάδα. Στοργικός πατέρας και παππούς, θα μας λείψει πολύ.

Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Τρίτη 23 Απριλίου 2024, στις 12.00 το μεσημέρι, από τον ιερό ναό Αγίου Δημητρίου, Edmonton, Tower/Logan Road N9 0LP. Μετά τη νεκρώσιμο ακολουθία, η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στην αίθουσα της εκκλησίας για τη διευκόλυνση των παρευρισκόμενων. Θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Sewardstone Park, Sewardstone Road, London E4 7RJ, στις 3.00μμ.
