Theo is a remarkable 12-year-old boy who embodies resilience and compassion. Living with thalassaemia, a genetic blood disorder, Theo faces unique challenges every day. However, instead of letting his condition define him, he chooses to rise above it and make a positive impact on the world around him.

Theo’s journey with thalassaemia started from birth. Despite the medical treatments and blood transfusions he requires, he refuses to let his condition limit his potential. In fact, he has become a source of inspiration for those around him, including his family and friends.

What sets Theo apart is his unwavering determination to raise awareness about thalassaemia. He actively participates in various awareness events, where he fearlessly shares his personal experiences and knowledge about the condition.

Through his engaging speeches, he educates people about the challenges faced by those living with thalassaemia and advocates for greater support and understanding.

He is now planning a penalty shootout with his local football team to raise funds for UKTS. During this event, the  participants will be able to take penalty kicks to raise money for thalassaemia. Penalty shootouts are a popular fundraising activity in football, as they provide an exciting and engaging way for participants and spectators to support a charitable cause of their choice.

The date of the event is:

  • Thursday 23rd May 2024
  • Time : 6.30pm-7.30pm
  • Location: Douglas Eyre Sports Centre

Coppermill Lane, London E17 7HE

The event will be open to the public so if you are available to go out and support him please do so! You can also support his fundraising by visiting his just giving page and donating:
