Omonia Youth Mens Green did us proud beating Shire United to win  the prestigious Middlesex cup final in their  first ever season

A very physical game played at a fast pace with chances for both teams to score .

Early penalty decision put crisply away by Christian Halmshaw saw Omonia go 1-0 up into half time .

Second half an early equaliser for Shire Utd got them back into the game and they nearly scored again after they gained momentum .

An own goal got us back to 2-1 then a clean strike by Francesco Amato our top goal scorer gave us a clear lead.

Cem Poyraz finished a great build up play with the 4th goal and then Rico Charalambous put the game to bed with the 5th goal to finish the game off.

 14 of our 16 man squad are all a product of Omonia’s youth set up so testimony to what we have achieved as a club

 To put this achievement  into perspective in 30 years of our clubs history we’ve only won the Middlesex Cup Trophy 5 times up to now hence the five stars on the Omonia badge .
