People have told us they’re being approached by no-win-no-fee style companies that encourage them to make legal claims for repairs in council homes.
They may:
• claim to be from the “Housing Disrepair Team”, Islington Council or working on behalf of the council, which is not true
• advertise “no-win, no fee” services when there are hidden costs
• only pass on a very small percentage of any compensation money.
