Representatives of the trade union organisations PEO, DEV-IS, KTAMS, KTÖS, KTOEÖS, KOOP-SEN and BES met recently at the central offices of DEV-IS in Nicosia.

The Cypriot affiliated members of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) discussed the details of the organization of the joint celebration of International Workers Day at the mass meeting due to be held by Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot trade union organizations.

The common class celebration of Workers Day will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at 10.00, following the rally at Freedom Square and subsequent march to the UN-administered buffer zone where the trade union organisations will converge and meet.
