On March 30, the FCAO, in cooperation with PSEKA and the Cyprus Consulate General in New York, held a Trisagion and cultural event to commemorate the 69th Anniversary of the EOKA liberation struggle against the British Colonial rule. The moving tribute to the heroes of EOKA included narrations and poems by youth members of the Cypriot American community and students of the Holy Ressurection Greek School. The songs were performed by the Sounds of Cyprus!
