The International Food & Drink Event (IFE) took place at ExCel in London, from 25th-27th March 2024, welcoming over 27,000 food and drink professionals who came together to sample new products, make lasting business connections, and find suppliers who’ll give their business a competitive edge.
Cyprus once again participated with a number of foodstuff exporters, giving the opportunity to retailers, wholesalers, distributors and restaurant caterers to taste unique flavours from the island and see exciting and innovative ideas to inspire their business.
Products exhibited at the Cyprus Pavilion included Halloumi – the traditional cheese of Cyprus, frozen pastries, potatoes, olive oil, confectionary, honey, herbal teas, and many more.
The participating companies were:

• Cyprus Potato Marketing Board – producer of a number of potato varieties.
• Agros Rose Products – a company producing rose water, beauty products, and sweets.
• The King of Olives – Agathoklis Agathokleous Ltd – producers of olives and olive oil.
• MGP Cyprus Salt Co Ltd – manufacturer of sea salt flakes.
• Maksak Ltd – producers of halloumi breaded sticks and Hi Loumi series, setting a new standard in the world of artisanal cheese.
• M.P. Theodorou Salt Industry Co Ltd – Cyprus’ largest salt enterprise.
• S.C. Twist Trading Ltd – producers of the Natural Life range including herbal tea, rice, legumes, superfoods and spices.
• Mellona – a family-owned company producing unique, quality products from natural sources such as raw honey, extra virgin olive oil, pomegranates, carobs and aromatic herbs.
• M.F. Oros Mahaira Ltd – a bee-keeping family producing the famous Cyprus Honey ‘Oros Machaira’, bee cosmetics, honey products such as royal jelly, bee pollen, bee wax, propolis, and honey spread.
• Aphrodite Delights Ltd – a company producing traditional Cypriot confectionary, mostly known for its main product, Loukoumi Geroskipou.
• Protino Foods Ltd – a family business dedicated to producing high-quality bulgur wheat and frozen vegetables.
• Zorbas & Sons Ltd – a Cypriot enterprise offering a premium selection of frozen pastries, confectionery cakes and bakery products, to clients and retailers worldwide.
• Avgoustinos Food Industry Ltd – one of the leading manufacturers of frozen quality products in Cyprus.
• VGO – offering a variety of products suitable for vegetarians.
• Petrou Bros Dairy Products Ltd – the leading company in halloumi cheese production and export, with presence in 40 countries.
• Tyras Dairies Cyprus Ltd – offering a variety of original authentic Cypriot cheese under GRANDPA’S brand with the range including halloumi PDO classic, block, burger sliced, sticks, flavoured, fresh Anari and yoghurt.
• Papouis Dairies Ltd – one of the leading dairies on the island, exporting to over 30 countries worldwide and supplying well known major retailers.
• Eleftherios G. Eleftheriou “Achnagal” Ltd – producers of cheese, yogurt and milk.
• Kouroushis Dairy Products – a one-stop supplier for high quality Cypriot dairy products.
• Pantziaros Bros Dairy Products Ltd – producers of halloumi and Anari cheese.
• A.P. Polycarpou & Sons Farm Ltd – producer of traditional halloumi cheese, sheep’s yoghurt, fresh Trahana soup, fresh unsalted Anari and ‘Flaouna’ cheese.
