The government is taking all security measures following Iran’s attack on Israel during the weekend.
Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, responding to a question from the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) on Monday said that the National Security Council is in a permanent session, and if something comes up, announcements will be made.
Asked if there is a security concern in Cyprus following last weekend’s attacks, the Spokesman said “we have no indications to be concerned”. However, it is an issue of a wider flare-up in the Cyprus region, he said.
Letymbiotis added though “we are taking all measures for our safety”.
