AKEL: The President should convene the National Council

The President of the Republic insists that he has received proposals from the Secretary General of the United Nations regarding the procedure of resuming the talks.
If Mr. Christodoulides truly believes that the effort to reach a solution must be a collective one, then he cannot ignore the political forces in this provocative manner.
AKEL demands that the National Council be convened so that the President of the Republic can inform the political forces, as he needs to do, of the content of these proposals.
