With the US at the forefront of the aggressor organisation today it is leading to further militarisation of international relations, followed by a new arms race at unprecedented levels and causing further armed interventions and conflicts.

In the 75 years of NATO’s history and action, peoples have suffered from its interventions. The Cypriot people are also victims of NATO’s imperialist action and are experiencing the results of the twin crimes of the coup d’état and the Turkish invasion of 1974. A crime which was planned at the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Lisbon in 1971.

NATO cannot guarantee the security and prosperity of peoples, as it promotes more spending on armaments and more wars!

The only thing NATO has to offer the peoples and humanity is its immediate dissolution!
