† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT –  FUNERAL

Vassilis Michael Constanta

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved father,

grandfather and great grandfather, Vassilis Michael Constanta, who passed away

on  Tuesday 19th March 2024, aged 98.

Vassilis came to England in 1947. He then married Yiannoula and moved to Barry South Wales in 1956. He became heavily involved in the Cypriot community acting as mentor and friend to many.

He leaves behind his son Michael and partner Andria, daughter Christalla and son in law Lambros, 5 grandchildren: Vaso, Dimitri, Yiannaki, Vaso and Marianna, 3 great grandchildren Isabella, Dimitri and Michael, many relatives and friends.

The funeral will take place on Monday 8th April 2024, at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Katherine, Barnet, Friern Barnet Lane, London N20 0NL, at 12:30pm, followed by the burial at the New Southgate Cemetery &  Crematorium, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate N11 1JJ. Donations can be made for Thalassemia UKTS. Will be a donation box at church.

Βασίλης Μιχαήλ Κωνσταντά

Με βαθιά θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε την απώλεια του αγαπημένου μας πατέρα,παππού και προπάππου, Βασίλη Μιχαήλ Κωνσταντά, που έφυγε από τη ζωή την Τρίτη 19 Μαρτίου 2024, σε ηλικία 98 ετών.

Ο Βασίλης ήρθε στην Αγγλία το 1947. Στη συνέχεια παντρεύτηκε τη Γιαννούλα και μετακόμισε στο Μπάρι της Νότιας Ουαλίας. Ενεπλάκη σε μεγάλο βαθμό στην

κυπριακή κοινότητα λειτουργώντας ως μέντορας και φίλος πολλών.

Καταλείπει τον γιο του Μιχάλη και τη σύντροφό του Άντρια, την κόρη του Χριστάλλα και τον γαμπρό του Λάμπρο, 5 εγγόνια: Βάσο, Δημήτρη, Γιαννάκη, Βάσο και Μαριάννα, 3 δισέγγονα Ισαβέλλα, Δημήτρη και Μιχάλη, και πολλούς συγγενείς και φίλους.

Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Δευτέρα 8 Απριλίου 2024, από τον ιερό ναό Αγίας Αικατερίνης, Barnet, Friern Barnet Lane, London N20 0NL, στις 12:30μ.μ, και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο New Southgate, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate N11 1JJ.  Εισφορές μπορούν να γίνουν για το Thalassemia UKTS. Θα υπάρχει ένα κουτί εισφορών στην εκκλησία.
