† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT –  FUNERAL

Christakis Michael

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad passing of Takis Michael

on 19 February 2024, at the age of 83.

Takis was a very sociable man, witty, kind and who loved to tell a story. He would do anything for anyone and his house was always full of people, whether staying or visiting.

He leaves behind his three children Olga, Julie and Antonio, his five

grandchildren Lydia, Nathan, Isabella, Theo and Rocco, his two son-in-laws Tony and Mark and his daughter-in-law Antonia.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 14 March 2024, at 10am, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Wood Green, Trinity Road, London N22 8LB and then Takis will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Carmen, at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate N11 1JJ. Afterwards, there will be a wake held at The Prince Public House (next to the church) and all are welcome. Any kind donations to Help The Aged can be given in a box which will be available in the church.

Με βαριά καρδιά ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του Τάκη Μιχαήλ στις 19 Φεβρουαρίου 2024, σε ηλικία 83 ετών.

Ο Τάκης ήταν ένας πολύ κοινωνικός άνθρωπος, πνευματώδης, ευγενικός και

του άρεσε να λέει ιστορίες. Θα έκανε τα πάντα για οποιονδήποτε και το σπίτι

του ήταν πάντα γεμάτο κόσμο, είτε έμεναν είτε τον επισκέπτονταν.

Αφήνει πίσω τα τρία του παιδιά Όλγα, Ιουλία και Αντώνη, τα πέντε του

τα εγγόνια Λύδια, Νάθαν, Ισαβέλλα, Θέο και Ρόκκο, τους δύο γαμπρούς

του Τόνυ και Μαρκ και τη νύφη του Αντωνία.

Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Πέμπτη 14 Μαρτίου 2024, στις 10 π.μ., από τον καθεδρικό ναό Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου, Wood Green, Trinity Road, London N22 8LB και στη συνέχεια ο Τάκης θα κηδευτεί με την αγαπημένη του σύζυγο, Κάρμεν, στο κοιμητήριο New Southgate, Brunswick Park Road, New SouthgateN11 1JJ. Στη συνέχεια, θα

πραγματοποιηθεί η παρηγοριά στο The Prince Public House (δίπλα στην εκκλησία), όπου είναι όλοι ευπρόσδεκτοι. Εισφορές θα μπορούν να γίνουν για το Help The Aged. Θα υπάρχει κουτί εισφορών που θα είναι διαθέσιμο στην εκκλησία.
