In a festive atmosphere, the Cypriot community combined feasting with tradition to mark the arrival of Clean Monday and the countdown to Easter.

The “Sarakosti” celebration, was held at the Cyprus Community Center last Monday, March 18th, and was organized by the Cypriot Women’s Association and the Cypriot Community Centre. The feast started with the traditional fasting meal, with plenty of fruit, vegetables, pastries and other delicious Cypriot delicacies, and continued with live music, dancing, recitation of Cypriot poems.
The event ended with a raffle draw and rich gifts.
