Jennifer Lopez last week released a new album, her first in a decade, titled This Is Me…Now, along with a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, This is Me…Now: A Love Story, currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
The album, written and produced by Jennifer and Rogét Chayed, among others, effortlessly blends R&B, contemporary pop sounds and hip-hop beats.
Her signature vocals, combined with intricately crafted lyrics delve into the highs and lows of life, love and relationships with unflinching honesty and introspection, making this JLo’s most honest and personal album yet.
The companion movie explores the 54-year-old singer’s journey to love as told through her own eyes. Its all-star cast includes husband Ben Affleck, Fat Joe, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sadhguru and Derek Hough.
The Amazon Original is directed by Dave Meyers and is packed with a breathtaking mix of costumes and choreography sequences.
Through its series of fantastical scenes, this retrospective tells a tale of healing, resilience, and the importance of self-love.
Jennifer will also release a documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, on 27 February.
