Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at an end of terraced shop with dwellings above on Holloway Road in Kentish Town.

A two-roomed flat on the first floor was destroyed by the fire. Ten people left the building before the Brigade’s arrival. Two men were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.

The Brigade was called at 1852 and the incident was over for firefighters at 2028. Firefighters from Holloway, Kentish Town and Islington fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
