A third annual Greek night in aid of In Sue’s Name will take place on Friday 1st March 2024 at The Penridge Suite, 470 Bowes Road, Arnos Grove, N11 1NL at 7pm.

The fundraising charity was launched in 2014 in memory of Sue Blasotta, who died in 2011 from brain tumours aged just 42, leaving two very young children.

Sue’s devastated father David resolved to cherish her memory by raising awareness, funds for research into brain cancer treatments and cures and support for anyone suffering from the effects of brain tumours.

David was shocked to discover that despite this disease killing more children and under-40s than any other cancer, only 1% of the total government cancer research spend goes to brain cancers.

The Greek night will help raise funds for brain tumour research in memory of those members of the community who have died from this terrible disease.

Enjoy a 5 course meal with wine, beer, tea, coffee and unlimited soft drinks, live music from the Millennium band and a charity auction and raffle where you can bid on unique items and try your luck for fantastic prizes.

Special guest speaker will be Myrianni Constantinou, researcher at the Blizard Institute at Queen Mary University of London.

Myrianni will speak about her ongoing work to find treatments and cures for brain tumours.

Help the charity achieve its goal to raise £1 million by 2027 in order to provide crucial research funds to support the Blizard Institute in Whitechapel – the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at Queen Mary University of London. Secure your seats now by visiting bookwhen.com/insuesname1 Tickets £65.00.
