Grange Park residents’ group joined Enfield Councillors to remove plastics, glass bottles, clothes and boxes from Cheyne Walk Open Space last Saturday morning (24.02.24).

The one-hour session was organised by local resident Julian Dixon who said :”A big thank you to all volunteers who helped the three Councillors Chris Dey, Ruby Sampson and Chris Joannides in the clean up” he also added ” We are planning to make this a regular activity and everyone is welcome to join us”.

Southgate ward Councillor Chris Joannides added ” I was pleased to join local residents and my Council colleagues to litter pick around the park. As making sure our streets and open green spaces are clean is a priority it’s important local Councillors lead by example in cleaning them up”.
