This was marked by personal challenges, including the loss of her brother though cancer and a depression as she was growing up. “The inspiration for ‘Burning’ came to me in a playground, flooded with memories of my brother. I yearned to go back to our carefree childhood days, watching kids play while feeling trapped in my own world. Despite the sunny days in Greece, my heart was engulfed in rain. I questioned whether my brother could see my struggles and if he knew I was slowly fading without him. This song is an emotional voyage, urging us all to honour our wounds, cherish memories and strive to make our departed loved ones proud from above,” said Elena.
