We’re continuing to create a greener, healthier future for Islington’s schoolchildren!
We’ve recently completed major improvement works outside St Joseph’s, Montem, and Samuel Rhodes Primary Schools, including:
🌳 new greening and seating areas
🚶 improvements to pedestrian crossings, and widening pavements, so it’s easier for everyone – including disabled people – to use streets
🚲 new cycle parking.
The improvements are all part of our efforts to create more welcoming, attractive spaces outside the schoolgate, where the toxic effects of air pollution are reduced. Check the link in the comments below for more information!
