Frosa Charalambous

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved sister, godmother, aunt and great aunt. Frosa Charalambous was born in London on the 29 July 1939 and passed away peacefully on Thursday 18 January 2024, aged 84.
Frosa was the eldest of three siblings. She leaves behind her younger brother Michael. Her sister Margaret (†) passed away in 2021.
After spending her childhood in London and Colchester, Frosa finished her studies in London and trained to become a shorthand typist at Pittman’s. Frosa was married to Chris (†) for over 50 years following their marriage in 1967 and they spent their lives together at their beloved home in Finchley.
Her working life included 12 years working for the manager of the Bank of Cyprus in Margaret Street, London and 12 years as a medical secretary for the consultant knee surgeon at The Wellington Hospital in St. Johns Wood, London.
Frosa was a proud and loving aunt and great aunt to her two nieces and nephew and four great nieces.
She was the happiest when surrounded by her family.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 31 January, at 12.30pm, at St Katherine’s Church, Friern Barnet lane, London N20 0NL, followed by the burial at Hendon Cemetery, Holders Hill Road, London, NW7 1NB.
Με μεγάλη μας θλίψη, ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της αγαπημένης μας αδερφής, νονάς και θείας.
Η Φρόσα Χαραλάμπους γεννήθηκε στο Λονδίνο, στις 29 Ιουλίου 1939 και απεβίωσε την Πέμπτη 18 Ιανουαρίου 2024, σε ηλικία 84 ετών.
Η Φρόσα ήταν η μεγαλύτερη από τα τρία της αδέρφια. Αφήνει πίσω τον μικρότερο αδερφό της Μιχάλη. Η αδερφή της Mαργαρίτα (†) απεβίωσε το 2021.
Αφού πέρασε τα παιδικά της χρόνια στο Λονδίνο και στο Κόλτσεστερ η Φρόσα τελείωσε τις σπουδές της στο Λονδίνο και εκπαιδεύτηκε και έγινε στενογράφος στο Pittman’s. Η Φρόσα ήταν παντρεμένη με τον Κρις (†) για περισσότερα από 50 χρόνια. Παντρεύτηκαν το 1967 και πέρασαν τη ζωή τους μαζί, στο αγαπημένο τους σπίτι στο Finchley.
Η επαγγελματική της ζωή περιελάμβανε 12 χρόνια εργασίας για τον διευθυντή της Τράπεζας Κύπρου στη Margaret Street του Λονδίνου και 12 χρόνια ως ιατρική γραμματέας στο συμβουλευτικό χειρουργικό ιατρείο γονάτων στο The Wellington Hospital στο St. Johns Wood του Λονδίνου.
Η Φρόσα ήταν μια περήφανη και στοργική θεία για τις δύο της αδερφότεκνες και τον αδερφότεκνο της, καθώς και τα τέσσερα παιδιά των αδελφοτέκνων της.
Ήταν πολύ ευτυχισμένη όταν περιτριγυριζόταν από την οικογένειά της.

Η κηδεία της θα γίνει την Τετάρτη 31 Ιανουαρίου στις 12.30 μμ. από τον ιερό ναό Αγίας Αικατερίνης, Barnet, Friern Barnet Lane, London N20 0NL. Θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Hendon, Holders Hill Road, London, NW7 1NB.
