Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters responded to a restaurant fire on the High Street, Acton. 

The fire was located in the basement of an end of terraced building, consisting of a restaurant with flats above. One person left the property before the Brigade arrived, and there are no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was first called at 1149, and the incident was under control by 1357. Crews from Ealing, Chiswick, Hammersmith and surrounding fire stations attended the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
