Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify following a racial assault in Potters Bar.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Friday 8 December 2023, when it is reported that an altercation took place in Potters Food Centre on Darkes Lane.

The victim – a man his fifties – was pushed to the floor by a man who then got on top of him and tried to hit him. He also made racist comments towards the victim.

We believe the man pictured was in the area at the time of the incident and will be able to help with our ongoing enquiries.
