Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a church on Bourne Hill in Southgate. 

A small part of the church was alight. There were no reports of any injuries. 

The Brigade was called at 1358 and the fire was surrounded by 1502. Firefighters from Edmonton, Hornsey and Enfield fire stations attended the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
