A man who was fatally stabbed in Camden has been named as detectives continue to appeal for witnesses.
Ahmed Jama, who lived in the borough, was found with stab wounds near Gaymead, on the Abbey Estate, in Abbey Road at around 19:32hrs on Friday, 29 December.
Officers and paramedics provided first aid and the 29-year-old was taken to hospital, where he died later that evening at 21:55hrs.
His family continue to be supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the stabbing, or has information about who was responsible.
“Ahmed‚Äôs family are starting their New Year devastated by their loss. If you have any information that could help our investigation please get in touch.”
