A good start to the year for New Salamis in the Isthmìan League rising ùp the table after beating Enfield 3-2.
New Salamis took the lead from Waight with an outrageous lob wasting no time in dinking the keeper after he catches him in no man’s land!
Enfield evened it up with the number 9 Bates being released on the left hand side before placing his shot in the bottom right corner in the 38th minute.
Seemingly out of no where just afteŕ the break Josh Williams swings the ball in from the left hand side and Jackson hammers it home to give New Salamis the lead.
Enfield in the 68th minute equalised after a lapse in concentration leaving Norman to head home. New Salamis finally broke through a rock solid defence from Enfield with a driving run from Lynch, who layed it off to Adu who then swung in a cross. Batzelis then hammered it home to put the Red’s back in front!
