Chariklia Kyriakides

(nee Findikidou, from Nicosia, Cyprus)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mum and Yiayia, Chariklia Kyriakides, on Monday 1st January 2024. Chariklia passed away peacefully at the Royal Free Hospital, aged 90.  

Chariklia was born in Nicosia and travelled to England in 1954 with her husband Charalambos. They built their life together in England with their four children, Andrew, George, Stephen and Maria.  

Chariklia leaves behind her children Maria and George, daughter in laws Alex and Maria, all her grand children and great granddaughters.

Her funeral service will take place on 15th January 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Wightman Road, Hornsey, London N8 0LY and the burial at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate N11 1JJ, at 13:30.

The wake will be held at the hall of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, Friern Barnet Lane, London N20 0NL, at 14:15.

A Charity Box for donation will be made available on the day.

Χαρίκλεια Κυριακίδη

(από το γένος Φιντικίδου, Λευκωσία, Κύπρος)

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της μαμάς και γιαγιάς μας, Χαρίκλειας Κυριακίδη, που απεβίωσε τη Δευτέρα 1 Ιανουαρίου 2024.  

Η Χαρίκλεια έφυγε ειρηνικά στο Royal Free Hospital, σε ηλικία 90 ετών.

Η Χαρίκλεια γεννήθηκε στη Λευκωσία και ταξίδεψε στην Αγγλία το 1954, μαζί τoν σύζυγό της Χαράλαμπο. Έκτισαν τη ζωή τους μαζί στην Αγγλία με τα τέσσερα παιδιά τους, τον Αντρέα, τον Γιώργο, τον Στέφνο και τη Mαρία.

Η Χαρίκλεια θα λείψει δυστυχώς στα παιδιά της Μαρία και Γιώργο, στις νύφες της Άλεξ και Μαρία, στα εγγόνια και στα δισέγγονά της.

Η κηδεία της θα γίνει στις 15 Ιανουαρίου 2024, στις 12:00 μ.μ. από τον ιερό ναό Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή, Wightman Road, Hornsey, London N8 0LY και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate N11 1JJ, στις 13:30.

Η παρηγοριά θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην αίθουσα του ιερού ναού της Αγίας  

Αικατερίνης, Friern Barnet Lane, London, N20 0NL, στις 14:15.

Θα υπάρχει διαθέσιμο φιλανθρωπικό κουτί για εισφορές την ημέρα της κηδείας.
