Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault and a spate of public order offences committed by three people on board a Jubilee Line service.

On Saturday 2 December at around 4.30pm it was reported that a pregnant woman was sat on board the service when two of the three people began blowing vape smoke in her face. After she requested they stop, they threatened her and her baby. As the pregnant woman went to leave, they attempted to trip her up.

The group then began making racist comments towards a woman, believed to be Asian, as well as threatening to steal her shopping.

Following this, they then began making derogatory comments towards another passenger and displaying threatening gestures to her friend. As they got off the service at St John’s Wood station, one of the three punched the friend in the head.

Later, at around 4.45pm, it was reported another victim was on the Jubilee Line service heading to Dollis Hill Station when they were approached by three people – believed to be the same people – one of whom grabbed the victim’s phone and claimed it was now theirs.

They continued to harass the victim and attempted to block her in to prevent her from leaving the train. She managed to get away and call 999, at which point the three suspects got off the service, one of them spitting on the victim’s face as they exited the train.

It is reported they exited the service at Neasden at 4.51pm.
