† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Andreas Economou
(born in London, raised in Essex southend)
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved son, husband, father and brother Andreas Economou on Tuesday the 28th November 2023.
At the tender age of 39 Andreas leaves behind his wife Nadiya, his stepchildren and his four-year-old daughter Alexandra, his parents Sava and Frida and his sisters.
Andreas was a warm hearted, witty, hardworking family man who will be missed by many, including his army or adoring cousins.
The funeral will take place, on Monday 11th December at 11.30am, at Christ the Saviour, Greek Orthodox Church Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, Kent, DA16 3AP
(Parking: Please use street parking and avoid church car park), followed by the burial at Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, London SE9 2AZ, at 1.15pm. The wake will be held
at Christ the Saviour, Greek Orthodox Church Hall, Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, Kent, DA16 3AP, at 2pm.
The family would like that instead of floral tributes, donations are made in memory of Andreas to Cancer Research UK.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας γιου, συζύγου, πατέρα και αδελφού Ανδρέα Οικονόμου, που απεβίωσε την Τρίτη 28 Νοεμβρίου 2023.
Στα 39 του χρόνια ο Ανδρέας καταλείπει τη σύζυγό του Nadiya, τα θετά του παιδιά και την τετράχρονη κόρη του Αλεξάνδρα, τους γονείς του Σάββα και Φρίντα και τις αδερφές του.
Ο Ανδρέας ήταν ένας εγκάρδιος, πνευματώδης, εργατικός οικογενειάρχης που θα λείψει σε πολλούς, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των λατρεμένων του ξαδέρφων.
Η κηδεία θα γίνει τη Δευτέρα 11 Δεκεμβρίου στις 11.30 π.μ., από τον Ιερό Ναό Σωτήρος Χριστού, Woolwich (Χώρος στάθμευσης: Χρησιμοποιήστε ως χώρο στάθμευσης το δρόμο και αποφύγετε τον χώρο στάθμευσης της εκκλησίας), ακολουθούμενη από την ταφή στο Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, London, SE9 2AZ, στις 1.15 μ.μ.
Η παρηγοριά θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο χόλ του Ιερού Ναού Σωτήρος Χριστού, στις 2:00μ.μ.

Not Enough Time
The time we had, Andreas mou,
Wasn’t nearly enough
To pack in an entire
Lifetime of love.
There are so many questions
That I need answers to,
But now that you’re gone
There’s no way to ask you.
But there are still photos
To remember you by,
Each time I look at them,
I still want to cry.
They say grief is easier
To bear as time goes by,
But that doesn’t stop me
From wondering why?
Why my dear, sweet dad
Was taken so soon,
When he was my guiding Star,
My sun and my moon.
