Non-league Maidstone United stunned League Two side Barrow to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time since the club’s reformation.

Barrow took the lead when Ben Whitfield capitalised on a defensive mix-up to score.

The National League South side, 47 league places below the Bluebirds, levelled when Sam Corne thrashed the ball home from inside the box.

Bivesh Gurung won it for the Stones when he hammered into the net from the edge of the penalty area.

One of the Maidstoñe stars of the games was UK Cyprìòt Harry Kyprìanou a defendeŕ formerly of Southend a a Cyprus U21 international.
