Spartan south Midlands league

St Panteleimon 0 Milton Keynes Irish 0

On a drizzly wednesday night at the Lantern stadium, this was a top of the table clash. With St Panteleimon hoping to close on the 6 point gap that MK Irish have on them, who are second in the league. MK Irish also have score 58 goals this season to the Saints 42.

It was an evening where the surface was only going to get heavier and slushier as the game went on. Which really did not do any team any favours in the attacking sense. The game was cagey and only a handful of chances to score from both teams all game.
There was only one real good effort in the 10 minute from MK Irish, which the Saints keeper pulled of a fantastic save to keep it level.

Both defences played well but no real promise of any goals throughout the game. A draw was the right result in the end.

With Renzo Alves been MotM.

Saints play Stansted in the Premier League Cup next Wednesday 19.45. If you fancy watching some good football.
