St Andrew the Apostle School students attended St Katherine’s Christmas Church Services throughout last week. Y7 and Y8 attended on Monday, Y9 and Y11 on Wednesday, while Y10, Y12 and Y13 attended on Thursday. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a delight for the Headteacher to read during the services alongside Father Damianos.
On Tuesday afternoon, Dr Philip Hills had the privilege of travelling with the school’s student reporters, Bella and Antonio, and Mrs Casey for an interview with His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas. His Eminence was on excellent form as he regaled to the students with learned answers on topics as disparate and diverse as the coronation of King Charles, the Parthenon marbles and the importance of wise stewardship of the environment.
