It is with enormous sadness that we announce the passing of beloved father and grandfather Neoclis Georgiou who passed away on 15th December 2023, aged 84.
Ηe leaves behind his children Marios, Christina and Sophia, grandchildren Elsie & Stanley, Ava-Louise & Remi & son in laws Dan & Michael.
Neoclis came to London to work and he created his own business as a car mechanic. He loved football and played until he was 50 years old playing for KLN in the 60’s when they dominated Sunday League football and then in the KOPA League where he played for KLN and PAOK who he also managed. He was also the chairman for the Cypriot Football Club KLN (Cypriot Youth).
Neoclis met Louise in London who was from New Zealand and who died 5 years ago. Now they are both reunited.
Neoclis will be missed dearly by all as was much loved in the community.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 11am at St John The Baptist Church, Whightman Road N8 OLY, followed by a burial at Chingford mount
Cemetery, 121 old church road Chingford, E4 6ST, where he will be burried with his wife Louise, at 1.30pm.
If anyone would like to come and tell stories regarding my father, the wake will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Chingford, E4 6BA.
