…the most wonderful time of the year! We are here to tease you with some festive treats (in no particular order) for you and all the family so here we go…

The Royal Albert Hall – starting 2 December an eclectic mix of entertainment – one highlight being the Gospel Messiah on 7 December.

Cadogan Hall – a fabulous festive range of family fun including the Royal Philharmonic Christmas Cracker on 9 December.

St John’s, Smith Square – a classical Christmas with the Choir of New College Oxford’s A Babe is Born – 15 December – promising heavenly choral singing.

Southbank Centre – a proper Xmas mash up and here’s one that the whole family can enjoy, Christmas Actually from 7-11 December.

Old Vic – Jack Thorne’s wonderful version of A Christmas Carol brings Dickens to life in an atmospheric and vibrant production – until 6 January 2024.

It’s behind you! – pantos, pantos everywhere, the pantomime season is now in full swing and here are three for starters – Aladdin at the Hackney Empire, proper East End entertainment (closes 31 December). Potted Panto at Wilton’s, hilarity guaranteed – (until 30 December) and Stratford East’s Jack and the Beanstalk – ordinary boys doing extraordinary things, (‘til 6 January 2024)
