Marina Satti will represented Greece in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest which is being held in Malmö, Sweden. She was internally selected by Greek broadcaster, ERT.
Marina was born in Athens to a Greek mother and a Sudanese Arab father but was raised on the island of Crete. She studied classical singing in high school and furthered her musical studies at the Nakas Conservatory in Athens and the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
In 2016, Marina released her debut single Koupes. In 2017, she released Mantissa which reached number one on the Greek Singles Chart. Later that year, she founded fonés, an all-female acapella group that performs traditional polyphonic songs, and chóres, a choir of 150 women aged 13–55. In 2022, she released her debut album YENNA, which was commercially and critically acclaimed.
The song that Marina will perform in Malmö has not yet been chosen.
