Do you recognise these men?

Detectives investigating a racially aggravated assault at Charing Cross underground station have issued two images of people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

At around 6.15pm on Saturday 4 November, a man in his 30s, wearing glasses and a red scarf, was queueing to enter Charing Cross underground when two men made several racist comments towards him. Once he was inside the station, the two men continued to make racist remarks.

The victim started to make his way towards the Bakerloo Line, via the staircase, but because of congestion, waited at the bottom of the staircase before he could gain access to the platform. The two men, now at the top of the stairs, continued to shout racist comments to the man. One then walked down and assaulted the victim by punching him in the face multiple times, breaking his glasses.
