AFC SUDBURY, playing their first league match since August, were made to work hard for the win by a spirited New Salamis side. . The hosts had all the chances in the opening half with Joe Grimwood coming the closest to scoring, but his effort was cleared off the line by Luke Foster. They opened the scoring seven minutes into the second period, however, when Grimwood found Josh Mayhew, who superbly flicked past an onrushing Emmanuel Olajide. 

Then it was all let loose in the final ten minutes when the Sudbury forward Nwachuku scored two goals in thè 81st and 90th minute. and Ryan Herveĺ for New Salamis in thè 84th minute final score 3-1 to ÀFC Sudbury.
