Komi Kebir started the part 2 of the KOPA League on the right track with a great 2-1 win over Omonia to return to the top spot and they did it in style they were losing 1-0 and fought back late in the second half to score two goals that was enough to win the game.
Omonia started well when a scramble in the Komi Kebir goalmouth resulted in the ball falling into the path of Harry Kyprianou who shot from the edge of the box the Komi Kebir goalie saved it palming the ball onto the post but it rebounded back towards the net and the linesman adjudged it to have gone over the line.

Omonia goals were scored by debutant Andreas Kyprianou, Nick Gregoriou and Demitris Christodoulou.

Scintillating debuts for new signings George Latayaa, Charlie Georgiou and Harrison Georgiou for Akanthou versus Cinar.Akanthou took some time finding their feet as an experienced Cinar side made the most of their advantage starting a week earlier. Early chances for Cinar who couldn’t convert set the tempo for the match as this snapped Akanthou well and truly awake. It wasn’t long before Akanthou took the lead and began to dictate the game, attacking at will and Cinar near powerless to stop the Akanthou bombardment. HT 0 – 4.Second half saw much of the same as Akanthou enjoyed most of the possession and the lions share of the chances. The physicality of the match still very much at the forefront saw a few yellow cards being brandished for both sides, however, the game played in excellent spirit until the final whistle. FT 1 – 6. Akanthou eyes firmly fixed on the task at hand and Cinar will be scratching their heads after that one! The Akanthou goals came from George Latayya 2, Harrison Georgiou 2, Brandon Dujon and Ino Rodriguez Martin to give their team a 6-1 win.
