In the first game back, this was a double header where the teams played 2 games back to back.

Against a well organised team, AEK fell behind early on but this seemed to galvanise them and quickly replied with a fine strike from captain Lucca. AEK found their rhythm and scored 2 in quick succession which earned Lucca his hattrick to win the first game 3-1.

After a short break it was onto game 2 and as suspected, the Jets came out fighting with vigour and determination. This enabled them to take the lead, followed by another to go in 2-0 up at half time. After the interval, AEK upped their work levels and started to compete and battle and saw them half the deficit through a Marcus effort. With 15 minutes remaining it was all AEK as the Jets were clinging on. Lucca hit the woodwork from an excellent long range free kick, the Jets clearing two off the line and were eventually fortuitous to keep the score at 2-1.

It was great for the boys to be back in what was an enjoyable return to Sunday football.
