Victoria Anastasi

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the
passing of our dearest mother and grandmother, Victoria Anastasi. She sadly passed away on
12th January, 2021, and will be sorely missed by her two sons, Tasos and Michael, daughters-in-law Flori and Lilly, and grand-children, Johnny, Maria and John-Michael.
Victoria left her village of Tripimeni in Cyprus and came to England in January 1946, where she met and married her late husband, Yiannis. She was a uniquely independent and creative woman, even into her early 90’s, and the gap she leaves in all our lives can never be filled.
The funeral will be held on 27th January, 2021, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross and Archangel Michael, followed by burial at Hendon Cemetery. Due to the current pandemic, numbers are restricted.
We will miss her warmth, wisdom and passion for life. Rest in Peace.
