Polis Polyviou

With deep sorrow we announce that our beloved brother and uncle, Polis Polyviou, passed away, on Sunday 13th December 2020, aged 71.
He was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1949 and moved to London in the early 1970’s. For the last 26 years he was a partner at Palace Promotions in Hornsey, and was due to retire this year to enjoy his life in Cyprus. He planned to enjoy his retirement spending time with the family, travelling and playing golf with his close and numerous friends. Unfortunately, he fought a sudden and short battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at his sister’s home with the family around him.
He leaves behind, his 3 sisters Skevoulla, Loulla and Nitsa, 8 nieces and nephews, many relatives and very close friends.
His funeral will take place at 1pm at St. Anargyre, Gordon House Road, NW5 1LN on Wednesday 30th December 2020. However due to Covid restrictions, attendance will be by invite only.
The burial will take place at 2.30pm at New Southgate Cemetery for those who would like to pay their respects, subject to social distancing rules.
The family request that instead of flowers, donations are made to Cancer Research UK.
