D.O.B 1st July 1943 -Date of Death 17th December 2020

It’s with a heavy heart and great pain that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and pappou Costas Alexandrou. He leaves behind his beloved wife Maria (from Paralimni Cyprus) his 4 children Solo, Despo, Androulla and Alex. His son-in-law Robert, his daughter-in-laws Melissa and Rita and his 5 grandchildren Kostantino, Mario, Alexander, Jamie, Mario and his twin sister Helen and many close family relatives and friends. Costas will always be remembered telling his stories and funny jokes and the love he had for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 13th January 2021 at St Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church at 12.30pm. Due to Covid restrictions only 30 family members will be allowed to attend.

The burial will take place at Edmonton Cemetery Church St London N9 9HP at 2pm. For those who would like to pay their respects subject to social distancing and covid restriction rules. There will be a donation box for St Demetrious Church in memory of Costas.

God saw you were getting tired,

a cure was not to be

he put his arms around you and

whispered ‘ come to me ‘

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer

saw you fade away,

although we love you dearly,

we could not make you stay.

Golden heart stopped beating,

hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

he only takes the best.

A light has gone from our hearts today

we have lost a big part of our lives.
