Andriani (Androulla) Poumbouris

It is with great sadness we announce that our beloved mother Andriani (Androulla) Poumbouris has passed away on Wednesday 16th December 2020 at the age of 80.
She leaves behind her children Maria, Chris, George and Yianoulla, daughter in law Maria, son in law Steven and her grandchildren, Lydia, Alex, Angelina, Gabriella, Anthony, and Michael. Many good friends and extended family.
She was born in Cyprus in a village called Vasilli, she came to the UK in the 1960’s where she met our father and married. Our mother had a heart of gold and she was the kindest, sweetest soul you could ever meet. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

The funeral will take place on Thursday 7th January 2021 at 12.30pm at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2 Logan road, London N9 0LP. However due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be by invite only. The burial will take place at New Southgate Cemetery, for those who would like to pay their respects, subject to social distancing.

The family kindly request that instead of flowers, donations are made to Alzheimer Research.

Με μεγάλη λύπη ανακοινώνουμε ότι η αγαπημένη μας μητέρα Ανδριανή (Ανδρούλλα) Πουμπούρη απεβίωσε την Τετάρτη 16 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 σε ηλικία 80 ετών.
Αφήνει πίσω τα παιδιά της Μαρία, Κρις, Γιώργο και Γιάνουλα, νύφη Μαρία, γαμπρός Στίβεν, τα εγγόνια της, Λύδια, Άλεξ, Αντζελίνα, Γκαμπριέλα, Άντονι και Μιχαήλ και πολλούς καλούς φίλους και λοιπή οικογένεια.
Γεννήθηκε στην Κύπρο στο χωριό Βασιλί και ήρθε στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο τη δεκαετία του 1960 όπου γνώρισε και παντρεύτηκε τον πατέρα μας. Η μητέρα μας είχε μια καρδιά χρυσή και ήταν η πιο ευγενική και πιο γλυκιά ψυχή που θα μπορούσατε ποτέ να συναντήσετε. Θα μας λείψει πολύ και δεν θα ξεχαστεί ποτέ.

Η κηδεία θα τελεσθεί την Πέμπτη 7 Ιανουαρίου 2021 στις 12.30 μ.μ. στην Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία Αγίου Δημητρίου, 2 Logan road, Λονδίνο N9 0LP. Ωστόσο, λόγω των περιορισμών COVID-19, η συμμετοχή θα γίνεται μόνο με πρόσκληση. Η ταφή θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Νεκροταφείο New Southgate και για όσους θα ήθελαν να τιμήσουν μπορούν να παρευρεθούν τηρώντας πάντοτε κοινωνικές αποστάσεις.
Αντί για λουλούδια, μπορούν να γίνονται δωρεές στο Alzheimer Research.
