After 6 weeks of inactivity during Lockdown 2.0 New Salamis got their season restarted, lockdown had been kind as it enabled a number of players missing since September to recover from injury.

Today saw the return of Charlie Georgiou who partnered new signing Scott Piggott up front.

Charlie grabbed the opening goal stabbing home from close range for 1-0.

Charlie grabbed the 2nd from the penalty spot after Jordan Sanderson was fouled for 2-0 early in the 2nd half.

Soon after Luke Foster scored a header at the far post following a flowing move for 3-0.

Junior Rosero made it 4-0 with a thunderbolt and the Scott Piggott scored on his debut following a great through ball from the returning Harrison Georgiou out since the Brentwood Town FA Cup match.

A much needed 3 points for the reds who have a lot of catching up to do to achieve their goal of promotion.
