An explosive device went off at 09:00 at a holiday house in an inaccessible area of Liopetri in Famagusta district.

At the time of the explosion the owner of the house and a relative were there but fortunately they were not injured.

Members of the Famagusta CID went to the scene, they cordoned it off and started investigations.
