Police reported 79  citizens for violations of COVID-19 measures island-wide in the last 24 hours.

A police officer from the Press Office told CNA that the Police carried out 4,272 checks.

In Nicosia the checks were 1,474 during which 15 citizens were reported while in Limassol 21 people were reported in a total of 525 checks. In Larnaka the Police conducted 900 checks and reported 8 citizens.

In Paphos 29 people were reported in a total of 645 checks and in Famagusta the checks were 525 during which 6 citizens were reported.

In Morphou the Police carried out 157 checks with zero reports.

The Marine Police made 46 checks with zero reports as well.
