Police called at approximately 02:50hrs on Sunday, 22 December to reports of a man suffering a gunshot injury in Church Lane, Enfield near Enfield tiwn centre and Enfield County School.

Police Officers & Ambulance Services  attended; the man, believed aged in his 20s, was taken to an east London hospital.

He remains there in a critical condition.
