Firefighters rescued an elderly woman from a house fire on Lordsmead Road in Tottenham.

Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued the woman from a first floor bedroom.

The fire damaged a very small amount of the kitchen.

The Brigade was called at 1548 and the fire was under control by 1606. Firefighters from Tottenham fire station attended the scene.
